I learn best through story, and reflecting on life through engaging with characters. That is, I think, why I found Amazing such an intriguing and inspiring read. Little snippets of story, and key phrases stay with me, and pop into my thinking. I also really enjoy Ged’s own songs, which are steeped in his Amazing thinking, even where they predate his picking up his pen to write. Being privileged to engage with him in conversation both as part of an Amazing group, and on a one to one basis takes it deeper. You think you understand and are practising the ideas until Ged feeds back what you said, and asks one of his perceptive questions. So I recommend engaging with his thinking at all levels. Read the books, listen to the songs, but grab the chance to engage directly with him as a mentor if you can. You will be glad you did.
